To my valued Patients,
This letter has been very difficult to write but after thorough consideration during a medical leave for several months, I have determined that this is the right time for me to take a step back from clinical dentistry at Millstone Dental. It has been an honour and a privilege to have cared for you and your oral health all these years. It means so much to me that you have placed your trust in me as your dentist. I will truly miss the patients and team at Millstone Dental, who have become like family to me throughout our time together.
Many of you have already had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Shelly Nagle, who has been caring for my patients during my medical leave. Dr. Nagle has made the decision to make Millstone Dental her home and we are very happy to welcome her to the Millstone family. Dr. Nagle will be accepting my patients in to her practice at the office. Dr. Nagle has worked in the dental industry for 4 decades. Her initial career was as a certified dental assistant. In 2002, she graduated from Dalhousie Dental School. For the past 23 years Dr. Nagle has provided outstanding clinical care to a variety of populations in various locations. General and family dentistry have always been her passion, but her love of community and service have taken her to remote locations across Canada. She has provided service for Indigenous families in remote communities and ensured our Canada's military members were ready for deployment abroad. Dr. Nagle has guided future dentists with her teaching at Dalhousie Dental School. Aside from practicing dentistry as a full time job, Dr. Nagle prides herself in staying current with continuing education. I am confident that Dr. Nagle and our wonderful staff at Millstone will be able to care for all your oral health needs as I have been able to. Knowing that you are in experienced and caring hands has eased this transition greatly.
